“N-No\u2026 please\u2026 h-help me\u2026 someone\u2026!!”
She screamed at the top of her lungs, begging for salvation.
But her ruptured body was beyond repair\u2014
Not even the most advanced medical technology in the kingdom could save her now.
The pain crashed over her in waves,
and her limbs, bound tightly by the restraints, began to convulse violently.
“It huuurts\u2026 I-I can’t\u2026 it hurts so much!! Kff\u2014kff!”
She coughed up frothy blood, staining her lips.
Her breath came in ragged wheezes, wet and broken,
each one thinner than the last.
“Why\u2026 w-why\u2026 me\u2026?”
Her eyes, no longer able to focus, wandered across the ceiling.
She never knew why she was chosen.
All she had done was dance\u2014just dance on a stage.
Why did her life have to end like this?

Her voice reached no one.
It echoed against the sterile walls of the chamber,
and continued to ring\u2014
