What\u2019s this\u2014candy?\u201d<br>Amane stared at it curiously.<br>I gave her a quick explanation and had her swallow it.<br>\u201cGulp\u2026 Will this really help me swim better?\u201d<br>She tilted her head as she looked up at me. For some reason, the way she did it looked awfully cute.<br>I took out my phone and opened the app to control the pump.<br>Beep.<br>\u201cUrp!?\u201d<br>Another tiny burp escaped Amane\u2014but that would be the last one.<br>Inside her stomach, the device expanded and kept any more air from leaking out through her mouth.<br>I swiped my finger along the screen again.<br>Beep.<br>\u201cEh!? Y-you\u2019re adding even more!?\u201d<br>A soft mechanical sound followed.
