“What? Constipation…?”
“Yes, it’s mild, but it would be best to address it now.”
The doctor’s calm voice made me doubt my ears for a moment.

A-address it now…?
Just recalling those words made my whole body flush with heat.
That calmly delivered statement kept echoing in my head, refusing to leave.

“Now, for the procedure, please step behind the partition, remove your clothes, and lie face down on the bed.”
“Here…? I-I’ll be doing it here?”
Startled and embarrassed, my voice cracked involuntarily.
I avoided eye contact, my gaze darting around as I tried to maintain some composure, but the heat rising in my face was impossible to hide.

“Yes, it’s perfectly fine. Just try to relax.”
The doctor’s composed tone offered me a small measure of comfort, but the overwhelming shame remained.

“O-okay…”
Muttering a soft reply, I lowered my gaze and walked slowly behind the partition.
Once there, I removed my clothes and lay face down on the bed, my heart pounding loudly as if trying to escape my chest.

“I’ll start the device now. Please relax your abdomen to avoid any danger.”
“…Okay.”
My response trembled slightly, but I focused all my effort on maintaining a calm demeanor.

Whrrr…
The low hum of the machine filled the room as a cold sensation spread to my lower back.
I instinctively held my breath for a moment, but recalling the doctor’s words, I gently relaxed my shoulders.

“I’ll step away for a moment. Please stay as you are.”
The doctor said this calmly before leaving the room, the door clicking softly behind them.

Left alone, I could only hear the faint hum of the machine echoing in the otherwise silent space.

“Ugh… it hurts… so much…”
A faint groan escaped my lips, but no one responded.
The doctor still hadn’t returned.

Whrrr…
The low hum of the machine continued to echo in the silent room.
I could feel the liquid steadily filling my abdomen, causing it to swell little by little.

“Haa… haa… haa…”
The weight and tension in my abdomen were unbearable, and a dull pain began to spread throughout.

“Ah… it hurts…”
I winced and felt my body tensing up involuntarily.
I tried to endure the pain, but the growing pressure in my abdomen made it impossible to relax.

Desperately, I steadied my trembling breaths, inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.
“It’s okay… just stay calm…”
I whispered to myself, as if trying to regain control.

Bit by bit, I attempted to ease the tension in my abdomen, though the pain refused to subside.
Even so, I kept repeating deep breaths, clinging to the hope of even the slightest relief.

“No… it’s going to come out…!”
Somehow, I was holding on by the thinnest thread of control.

Whrrr…
The machine paid no heed to my limits, continuing to mercilessly inject liquid into my body.

“I… I can’t… anymore…”
I closed my eyes and slowly released the tension in my lower body.
The moment I gave in, my sense of shame evaporated.

This is a hospital.
This is a treatment for constipation, so even if I leak, it’s not strange.
I repeated those thoughts to myself, trying to convince my panicked mind.

But then—
“What… it’s not coming out…!?”
I opened my eyes in shock.

The pressure inside my abdomen only grew stronger, and I could feel shortness of breath creeping in.
“Why… why can’t it come out…?”
Panic began to well up inside me.

Could it be that I can’t release anything until all the liquid has been injected?
The mere thought sent my mind reeling, blank with terror.

“Doctor… please, come back… I can’t take this anymore…!”
I screamed silently in my heart, clenching my eyes shut as tightly as I could.

No matter how much I struggled, it seemed there was no other choice but to endure.

“Haa… haa… haa…!”
With every ragged breath, the pressure in my abdomen intensified, and a splitting pain coursed through my entire body.

It’s going to burst.
No, it’s really going to burst.
The sensation of my abdomen being forcibly stretched from the inside felt as if my skin were about to tear open.

“D-Doctor…! Someone… please!”
I screamed until my throat felt like it would rip apart, but no one came.

The pain blurred my vision, and cold sweat poured from every inch of my body.
Even the slightest movement sent a sharp, unbearable pain shooting through my abdomen, leaving me completely immobilized.

“Ugh… ahh…!”
It felt as though my stomach was being torn apart.
All I could do was grit my teeth and endure the agony.

My stomach had swollen to a size I’d never seen before.
The skin was stretched taut, like a balloon on the verge of bursting.

“Am I… going to die…?”
Tears streamed down my face as fear and pain twisted together, overwhelming me.

Inside my abdomen, the relentless flow of liquid pressed mercilessly against my organs, crushing them with unbearable force.
“Stop… please…!”
The pain was so intense that my throat felt blocked, and my voice came out as little more than a raspy whisper.

I can’t take this anymore.
It felt as though my stomach would split open, spilling everything precious inside me.
That horrifying thought consumed my mind, refusing to let go.

“Doctor… doctor… doctor…”
I called out desperately, but no answer came.

The only sounds in the empty room were my ragged breathing and the low, unceasing hum of the machine.

Bang!!!
“Ugh!!”

A sudden, violent shock coursed through my body.

A sensation spread across my stomach—it felt wet. Horribly, unmistakably wet.
I don’t want to see it! I can’t bear to look!
I shut my eyes tightly, my entire body frozen in fear, but a searing pain erupted, tearing through me.

“Ahhh!! Aaaaaahhh!!”
A scream burst from my throat, louder than I ever thought possible, as if my voice itself was splitting apart.
A metallic taste filled my mouth, and in the next moment, a torrent of red liquid spilled out as I retched violently.

“Dammit!! Hey, are you okay?!”
I heard the doctor’s panicked voice from somewhere far away.

The world around me tilted and blurred, the darkness creeping in like a tide.
“Help… me…”
With that final, rasping whisper, my consciousness was swallowed by the void.

Thanks to the doctor’s relentless efforts, I eventually made a full recovery and was discharged from the hospital.
According to the doctor, they had been caught up dealing with another emergency that day and had accidentally forgotten about me.

Even now, the memory of that fear and pain makes my body tremble.
I swore to myself—never again. I would never let myself get constipated again.

From that day forward, I committed to living a healthier lifestyle, with balanced meals and plenty of hydration as my top priorities.
